Superstar is about as close to pop art as I'll likely ever come. It's a self portrait (obviously), with the bright, mass-produced look of a Japanese product label and colors that can't keep themselves within the illustration's lines. I really like this print, because it reminds me of that episode of The Simpsons where Homer discovers a foreign box of laundry detergent with his face on it. All in all, a really fun print to create, which sticks out like a sore thumb alongside the rest of my portfolio.
