The band's first and only full-length release, this record sounds unusually tight and well-performed, considering how long the members had been working together at the time of its creation. Without question, Poop Track still holds up extremely well today, but the real impact of this album came in listening to it during the era in which it was first released. Truly, there was no sound like this back in the early-mid nineties, and its long-reaching impact is still felt today in the music of Jimmy Eat World, the White Stripes, Bjork and The Flaming Lips, who each cite it as a tremendous personal and professional inspiration. The band's efforts to release the perfect album are apparent from the very first track, and continue well into the record's unprecidented fourteenth hidden song. Poop Track stands tall as the only album in history to feature more hidden tracks than listed tracks.
