/// Face Grabbin' Happiness

The page that made us change our name

Mmmm... Magic Donut.

The Insyderz: Motor City Ska

Moments of loving tenderness.

Seen here is another photo, resurrected from the inane craziness that was your average TK421 practice session. Here, Jeremy and Mr. Eric Osterday (trumpet and trombone, respectively) share a loving embrace before the camera's eye. Of note; I think we were actually going by a different name at the time of this photo. That's right, we weren't always TK421, daddy-o. The band's original name, chosen from a multitude of bad ideas, was "Daddy Soul Donut." Not even that one's an original, we lifted it from an episode of The Simpsons. Nothing's sacred with this band.

ON THE LEFT:
When we found this web page, which revealed that was, in fact, more than one band named Daddy Soul Donut, we did the right thing and changed our name. We're great guys. Next to that is a link to the Simpsons Script that inspired the name. It's... yeah. It's the Simspons, you know it's good. Finally, you'll notice an illegible blurb on Jeremy's shirt. If you were Superman, and could read this, you'd realize it's promoting a ska band named The Insyderz, who had one decent album. Click to see all the good things about it.
