/// Even Cleaner Than the Real Thing

Independence Day

Scary Similarities

U2: Achtung Baby

Watch for Falling Pedestrians

One of the many cityscape recreations in the Legoland archives. I'm guessing this was New York City, though I've never seen the real thing. Yeah, that's a Lego Chrysler Building.. so this is New York. These things were complete with a tiny yellow population, magnetically moving cars and billboards. The tallest tower stood something like 4 or 5 feet, and probably even swayed a little every time a stiff breeze came by. The mini Wall Street section was notably missing the occasional jumper.

ON THE LEFT:
Link one will tell you a bit of lovin' goodness about that crap-tacular blockbuster, Independence Day, starring Bill Pullman. You know if the movie stars Big Bill, it's gotta be good. Click the real Chrysler Building to learn a little more about it. Scary how similar it looks to the lego interpretation. That last picture is the cover to U2's early 90s album, Achtung Baby. I butchered a line from it near the top of this page. Good album.
