/// The Toughest Class I've Ever Taken

This shot was taken after a long, long night of studying (read: cramming) for the next day's big Italian Renaissance history test. Professor Ron Rarick made this class a real beast, forcing many of my classmates into an extended college career against their wishes. Me? Well, I somehow slipped by with a C+.. due in no small part to an extensive extra credit report I threw together to scrape past the course by the skin of my teeth. Seeing as how it was a fine arts-related course, I had to get a C or higher in this class to get credit on my BFA for it (and, ultimately, to graduate on time). I don't know how I did it.

Also of note in this picture is how damn artsy I look. I mean, c'mon... a string chin beard, a morose facial expression and a full length black shirt? "Ohhh, I just worked a double shift at the Cinnabon. I'm so forlorrrrn."

ON THE LEFT:
Though it doesn't look like it at first glance, the top link is actually the same book I'm holding up in this shot. Mine was merely the first edition, while Amazon lists the newer, second edition. It's called Art in Renaissance Italy, and I defaced the hell out of my copy. The second link is devoted to the Saturday Night Live skit I stole a quote from earlier on. Chris Kattan should never leave that cast. Finally, if you look closely enough, you can see a big poster for an old MU330 album, Crab Rangoon.. Tasty and fun to listen to. That's a good combination.
