This could've been done better. I love the style of old, aging, neon-based signs, especially when they're advertising a simply-named diner or cage like this one. The shadows, the different curves and angles of the piping cast at all hours of the day, the awkward shape of the sign itself and the "Don't bother hiding it" method of attaching the thing to an electrical source, it all makes a good composition in my book. The Uptown Cafe is another of downtown Noblesville's landmarks, although it's been years since I've been there and I'm not sure it's still around.
I really hate all the black air around this shot.
