...i have no idea....
Maybe someone thought it would be ironic to watch real people take pictures of Lego people taking pictures of nondescript landmarks, while proportionally giant robots looked on from an unhealthy distance. For some reason, this little scenario reminds me of a Lego version of the classic Sci Fi film The Day the Earth Stood Still. That, or The Man Who Fell to Earth, that terrible David Bowie alien movie set in the desert / moon. Now that I think about it, that second film really holds no resemblance to this photo after all.
