I picked up a webcam very shortly after receiving a monstrous Apple G4 for my 21st birthday, and put it to work just as soon as I could find a monitor supporting a higher resolution than 640 x 480. Each of these photos appeared on the 'about' page at one point, so cruise on by there right now to see how I look today. I had far too much fun with with the silly little $30 toy, usually posing with whatever action figures and trinkets lay offhand. Unfortunately, the little Kensington that could has mysteriously ceased operation, so I've picked up the slack with my Sony digital camera. Each of these were taken in my bedroom at some point throughout late 2000. Click the thumbnails to get an analysis that's far too in depth.

Click the images in the left margin for some related links. Well... scratch that. Sometimes they're related, sometimes they're just stupid.

Everybody's buddy, Maxx Steele, is featured in one of these shots. He served to prove that one can legitimately spell the name "Max" with two x's, just for effect. Sam Kieth later picked up on that knowledge with a comic series (and later a cartoon), titled simply The Maxx. It's one of my favorite books, but you'll want to read the first twenty before you lay down any kind of judgment on it. Finally, we've got Apollo 18 by They Might Be Giants, who I quoted obscurely in the header of this page.
