My mom sent me this little wooden bea for Valentine's Day several years ago, which is why half a dozen little hearts on strings have wrapped themselves around the poor creature's neck. A fierce warrior, this bear was formerly stationed as a guard above my old, clunky Mac monitor, protecting it from outside invasion while Tetsuo (of Akira fame) stood vigil atop the rarely-used PC. Now, I think they're both protecting dust on my bookshelf. I buy or receive toys because they're cool, and then I realize I have no use for them.

The first link is all about Amazon.com information. It'll tell you about the re-released Akira film that's rocking your momma as we speak.
Below, you can find out everything you ever hoped to know about the 2001 re-release of Akira, possibly the greatest anime of all time.
Finally, click the scary, scary CGI baby girl with a pink teddy to check out a news story about burning teddy bears. Nice. I wonder if that bear knew Chucky from "Child's Play."
