The first in a series of three prints I created for use in the student-organized annual print exchange. Close to fifty undergrads and professors contributed to the exchange my senior year, and each one of them took home a single print from each of the other contributors.
The second and third "Trifecta" prints align with this one to create a single, extremely horizontal print, but I always thought this one stood much stronger on its own. It's got a feel similar to most of Jhonen Vasquez's artwork, and emanates a really ominous, foreshadowing emotion. I always read it as the late-night lynching of a crudely drawn stick figure, but others have seen it from a completely different angle.
